concern of cost

Cost Concerns??

Affordability is a major concern for a large percentage of our patients.  We will listen to you and try to work with you and your budget, your needs and your lifestyle. We also offer financial options to help you. Please feel free to pop into our surgery at 164 Marius St, Tamworth to discuss this with our friendly staff

Marius St family dental aims to serve local communities, the following ways may help you :

Bupa Health fund

We are Tamworth’s only dental practice that is a part of Bupa’s Members First network.

What does being Bupa’s preferred provider mean for you?

  • We use Bupas own item numbers and fees for all Bupa patients.
  •  Using these gives you the absolute maximum rebate on each part of your dental procedure, meaning the smallest gap for you. It provides you with the certainty of up to 100% back and at least 60% back on most general and major dental services.
  • Gap free for your children up to the age of 25! If you have selected Extras cover, taken with hospital cover on a family membership, Bupa covers the cost of your kids' dental until they turn 25. This means you'll benefit from no out-of-pocket costs for your kids on dental services like check-ups, teeth cleaning, fillings, X-rays and more

* Subject to members level of extras cover, yearly limits, fund rules and waiting periods may apply.

** Yearly limits, fund rules and waiting periods apply. Child dependants only. Excludes orthodontics and hospital treatments.

HCF ‘More for Teeth’ provider

  • Available to HCF members with selected extras cover, it offers 100% back on a range of diagnostic and preventative services - (subject to annual limits).
  • One or two fully covered check-ups each year (depending on your level of cover)
  • Two fully covered mouthguards (subject to your available limits)

Child Dental Benefit Schedule

Medicare Australia has given many eligible families a $1000 Dental financial support which is called the Child Dental Benefit Schedule.  At Marius St Family Dental, if you are eligible, all you need to do is bring your Medicare Card (and your child, of course) along*.
